Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply when you use the courier, delivery, and logistics services provided by NexGen Global Logistics ("we", "us", "our"). By booking a job or using our services, you agree to these Terms. We've written them in plain English so they're easy to understand.

Service Availability

We operate across the United Kingdom with priority coverage in London and the South East. While we make every reasonable effort to collect and deliver within the timeframes discussed at booking, we cannot provide absolute guarantees on collection or delivery times.

Factors outside our control — including traffic conditions, road closures, adverse weather, port/airport delays, and access restrictions at collection or delivery sites — may affect timings. We will always communicate any expected delays as soon as we become aware of them.

Prohibited and Restricted Items

We cannot carry the following items:

  • Hazardous materials (flammable, explosive, corrosive, toxic, or radioactive substances)
  • Illegal goods or items prohibited under UK law
  • Firearms, weapons, or ammunition
  • Live animals
  • Perishable goods requiring temperature‑controlled transport (unless specifically agreed in advance)
  • Items requiring specialist licensing that we do not hold

If you're unsure whether your items can be carried, please contact us before booking. We reserve the right to refuse any consignment that we believe poses a safety risk or falls outside our operating capabilities.

Waiting Time

A reasonable grace period is included with every booking for loading and unloading at collection and delivery points. If our driver is required to wait beyond this grace period — for example, due to site access delays, paperwork processing, or goods not being ready — additional waiting time charges may apply. We will always confirm waiting time rates before dispatch so there are no surprises.

Payment Terms

We accept the following payment methods:

  • Card payment: Payment is due at the time of booking or upon completion of the job, as agreed.
  • Business accounts: Approved account customers may pay by invoice with agreed payment terms (typically 7–30 days). Late payments may incur additional charges.

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Quotes are valid for the job described at the time of quoting — changes to the job (additional stops, different vehicle, extended waiting) may affect the final price.

Tracking and Proof of Delivery

Where applicable, we provide live tracking and Proof of Delivery (POD) for booked jobs. Tracking and POD may include:

  • Live tracking link sent via SMS or email
  • Digital Proof of Delivery with photo, signature, and timestamp
  • GPS location data at the point of delivery

Tracking and POD features depend on the systems in use at the time of your booking. We are continually improving our tracking capabilities. In some cases, POD may be provided as a photo‑only confirmation rather than a full signature capture — for example, where goods are left at a designated safe place as instructed.

Liability

We take reasonable care of your goods while they are in our possession. However, please note:

  • Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the terms of our insurance policy. Speak to our team at the time of booking to confirm the level of cover for your consignment.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (traffic, weather, port delays, third‑party site access issues).
  • We are not liable for loss or damage arising from inadequate packaging provided by the sender.
  • Any claims for loss or damage must be reported to us within 7 days of delivery.

For high‑value consignments, we recommend discussing additional insurance options with our team before booking.

Cancellations

If you need to cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation charges may apply if a vehicle has already been dispatched or if the driver is en route to the collection point. We will always confirm any applicable charges before processing the cancellation.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
